Weinhold® steam pistol
for hot water and wet steam

Main characteristics - Mode of operation

Maximum pressure: 10 bar

Maximum operating temperature: 180°C (with a  possible short time increase up to 210°C)

Application fields :

Spraying off and cleaning of boilers, installation units, hall floors etc. - thawing of pipes on outdoor plants and equipment at low temperatures.

For safety reasons, “Weinhold”® steam pistols are equipped with a self-locking mechanism, thus preventing any accidental risks.

Functioning :

Hot water and wet steam enter the steam pistol through a hose and a hose connector attached to the steam pistol, usually a WE-ER® hose coupling. Inside the pistol the medium is diverted and enters the jet pipe through a stop valve before exhausting through the nozzle.

Weinhold® steam pistols are equipped with a trigger on the handle to reduce opening force. After releasing the trigger, the steam pistol is immediately shut.

The steam pistol is held by the handle with trigger and an extra grip to be attached on the left or right, for left resp. right-handers. Thermal insulation on both pistol and jet pipes provides safe heat protection against burns (Jet pipes in different lengths and additional handle to be fixed on the pipe are available).

Thermal plastic bridges prevent heat transmission from the parts in contact with hot water or wet steam to the grip and handle with trigger. Different nozzle types such as round nozzles, flat jet and multi-hole nozzles as well as rotating nozzles are available. Nearly all parts of the steam pistol and accessories as well as thermal insulations are made of stainless steel.

Weinhold® steam pistols can also be equipped with Weinhold® rotary device with attached WE-ER® hose fitting. This device prevents the hose from contusions and guarantees that the hose does not turn round during operation periods.

(Weinhold® rotary device is also available separately.)
